However, in order to qualify for these grants, there are certain requirements that must be met. First, the home must be your main residence and you must be the homeowner. Second, for insulation and heating control grants, the house must have been constructed and lived in before 2011; whereas for heat pumps and renewable energy systems grants, it must have been constructed and lived in before 2021.
